Le Maitre offers a wide range of flame effects. Whatever the size of your event, production or installation, we’ll have a flame machine to suit your requirements.

Our flame machines are all manufactured in the UK, built to the highest specification using top quality components. Our canister-based flame units offer an ideal solution for anyone wanting to create a propane-style flame. They eliminate the need for inconvenient external propane tanks, trailing pipes and multiple valves, enabling quick set up and at a fraction of the cost. All our flame machines come with a 2-year warranty.

Our flame canisters come in a choice of three colours, allowing you to choose the colour that best fits in with the styling of your event. You can choose from natural, red or green flames.

Our range of flame machines includes:

Salamander – The Salamander produces spectacular flame columns or bursts in lightning fast chases. Its small footprint allows single units to be easily coupled together collectively in a 4-up configuration to produce flames ranging in height from 4m to 6m. The Salamander flame machine gives up to 30 seconds of continuous flame or up to 50 short fire bursts.  It has onboard DMX 512 support, is low maintenance and comes with a number of safety features.

Salamander Quad Pro – The Salamander Quad Pro is a larger, more versatile system than the Salamander. A 4-canister system, it can be operated with each canister being fired independently and has the option of multiple colours being loaded to provide a truly stunning visual display from a single machine. Firing the canisters sequentially can also be used to increase the duration of the effect, with up to 120 hits in total and each flame reaching around 3.5m – 4.5m in height. Alternatively, all four canisters can be fired at the same time to produce a much bigger single flame reaching up to a spectacular 6m – 8.5m, making it the perfect choice for stadiums and larger venues.

Chameleon – With the Chameleon flame machine, flames can be fired in columns up to 3 - 4m high or in quick succession fire balls. It produces up to 90 seconds of continuous flame from its dual canisters and comes with onboard DMX.

If your event or venue will not allow flames, our Fake Flame machine offers the illusion of flames but without using any flammable products. It uses haze fluid to project coloured light onto a swirling screen of vapour to create a very realistic artificial flame. It is designed for use in theatres and theme parks, as well as on concerts and in nightclubs, where a flame effect is desired but it is deemed to dangerous or just not practical to use real gas.
