Following the success of last year's sold out performance, Classical Spectacular returned to the NIA (Birmingham) on the 2nd of December and the MEN (Manchester) on the 8th, with a stunning special effects display.
Le Maitre Events team member Gareth Jolly operated two of our Dragon systems (a powerful propane gas device creating columns of flame up to 40ft in height). Just FX fired a number of Le Maitre stage pyrotechnics and worked with Gareth to create an incredible pyro show.
The show featured a host of timeless masterpieces. The special effects were used on two cues: Carl Orff’s ‘O Fortuna' from Carmina Burana and Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture. Both pieces used the Dragons.
The Halle orchestra's performances were hugely powerful and the effects thrilled both packed MEN and NIA arenas.
Over one and a half million people around the world have marvelled at the incredible lights, lasers and special effects of Classical Spectacular.
