Le Maitre pyrotechnics and low smoke help light up the Eurovision Song Contest

Thursday 19 May 2016

A whole host of Le Maitre pyrotechnics was used on stage during the Eurovision Song Concert held in Stockholm at the weekend.

Products used throughout the show included 15x20, 20x20, 1x20, 1x25 and 1x35 Stage Gerbs. There were also yellow, blue, gold glitter, flitter and silver Mines and silver and red Comets. Six of Le Maitre's Freezefog Pro machines were also in use, adding low smoke to the performances.

The 1x35 Stage Gerbs were used in the finale of the interval act. 'Love Love Peace Peace', performed by presenters Måns Zelmerlöw and Petra Mede, was a parody of all that makes the Eurovision Song Contest what it is, packed with references to some of the most memorable Eurovision moments from previous years.
