Head of Sales Elaine Frost is at the National Student Drama Festival in Hull today, running a technical workshop on an Introduction to Pyrotechnics.
NSDF is a festival for young people who love theatre, and is open to anyone aged between 16 and 25. This year's festival is taking place from 8th to 14th April in Hull, hosted by the University of Hull and City of Culture.
Each morning a range of performing, producing and technical workshops take place, with discussions, panels and open forums in the afternoon followed by shows and performances later in the afternoon and the evening.
Elaine's workshop is a hands-on introduction to pyrotechnics, covering advice on safety and product awareness as well as wiring and firing effects. There will be a showcase of pyrotechnics and students will also be able to get hands-on with the wiring and firing and effects.
